Tariq Malik, Head Excecutive of Wateen Telecom said: “We needed top of the line WiMax technology in the industry to be able to provide first line services and satisfy our customer’s needs through a Pakistani extended network and, after a competitive analysis, we chose Motorola in order to offer new generation CLE WiMax units. “The Motorola’s WiMax solution is absolutely compatible with Wateen expansion plans; offers the best performance of its class with easy to install
CLE . We have managed to considerably reduce our operational costs for we require a smaller number of base stations and we can extent higher order modulation 40% more in service areas. This attributes translate into a faster return of the investment, a reduction of desertion rates and an improved customer satisfaction”, added Amer.

As part of the last
CLE order, Wateen has selected Motorola’s WiMax USBw 100, which will be available for the first time in Pakistan for customers and companies; WiMax CLEo 450 for exteriors, as well as recently introduced devices such as the WiMax CLEi 775 and CLEi 750, for interiors, homes and offices.
